Commitments

Our standard of conduct

Laystone Advisory operates under the standards of Laystone Group — and adds the obligations specific to a long-horizon advisory practice.

Inherited from the Group

We inherit the commitments of Laystone Group.

Society, environment, philanthropy, governance — Laystone Group sets the framework that applies across every division. We do not duplicate it. We refer to it, and we operate within it.

Advisory standards

What we owe to every mandate.

On top of the Group framework, an advisory practice carries its own non-negotiable obligations. We hold ourselves to four.

01

Independence

We do not accept side mandates that compromise the advice we owe to our client. Our compensation is fully aligned with the work delivered, and disclosed.
02

Conflict of interest

Every engagement is screened against active and historical mandates. Where a conflict cannot be cleared, we decline — even when the engagement is otherwise attractive.
03

Confidentiality

Client information is treated under written confidentiality and need-to-know. Internal walls between practice areas are enforced. No reuse of proprietary information across mandates.
04

Conduct & accountability

Every senior member of the firm is bound by a written code of conduct. Concerns are escalated to an independent compliance function with direct line to the Chairman.
